TOYOPUC PC3J/PC2J FL/ET-net-5

1.Outline of module
FL/ET-net-5 is a module with the function of “FL-net" and "Ethernet". The FL-net mode and the Ethernet mode are switched with the dip switch in front of the module. FL-net is the best for the data link between a high-speed,/large capacity control equipment. Ethernet is the best for the communication by the command response with the personal computer. 2. FL-net function
●Outline of FL-net
FL-net is an open network. Manufacturing science and technology center (MSTC) was centered based on the specification of Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), the main control equipment maker participated in the project, and the communication specification was brought together. As for the correspondence product, the communication among each maker FL-net is possible. The pparticipation enterprise of FL-net project and the correspondence FL-net product etc. please confirm on the page at the manufacturing science and technology center (JAMA).

●Feature of FL-net
  1. The interconnection with the product for other companies FL-net is possible by a standard network for next generation FA.
  2. A high-speed (10Mbps) and large capacity (2048 points +2048 words) can be communicated. (When CPU module is used since PC3JL-CPU, 2048 points + 8192words can be communicated. (one word = two bytes))
  3. Participation/secession to the FL-net communication is always possible because of the management of the token of Mastarres (transmission right) in each node. (Even when the trouble occurs in the power supply determination and the communication cable and telecommunications equipment, etc. , keep communicating between nodes which can be communicated. )

●Communication function of FL-net
N:N data link communication
In N:N communication method, the transmission data of a certain node becomes receive data in another node, and common "Common memory" data in the entire network is shared.

 
1:N data link communication
In 1:N communication method, The transmission data of the bureau which corresponds to master bureau (*1) is received in slave bureau (*1) and the transmission data from the slave bureau is received only in the master bureau. The data link of the slave bureau is not done. There is merit by which the data link area in the slave bureau can be saved when using (*O) with Andon etc.



*In 1:N data link method, though communicated without the distinction of the master bureau and the slave bureau because the network of FL-net is Masterless, the bureau which receives the data of all bureaux is virtually expressed , "master". The bureau which communicates only with "master" is expressed, "slave".

●Message communication
It is a communication method by which the command is transmitted from the personal computer etc. which participate in the FL-net network, and the response is returned on the other hand. The following commands are executable.
・ I/O register word block reading/writing
・ I/O register byte block reading/writing
・ Read/clearness of communication error log
・ Reading of network parameter
・ Reading of profile data
・ Sequence scanning beginning/stop
・ Data extension bit reading/writing(for PC3J) The function to send the command from the FL/ET-net-5 module to another node by processing the sequence program can be used since PC3JL-CPU CPU module.

3.Ethernet function
●Outline of Ethernet
Ethernet is a communication form which it is the communication between computers of LAN (local area network) etc. and is the world standard. TOYOPUC is connected with the network of Ethernet in the Ethernet mode of FL/ET-net-5, and the communication by which the response is returned to the command such as personal computers is done. Moreover, it is also possible to send and receive other terminal bureaux to the data of the I/O register by processing the sequence program. . Because the format of the command response data exchanged on the line of Ethernet and the file memory data is different from the Ethernet module of the other companies, it is not possible to communicate directly.

●Feature of Ethernet
  1. It is the best for the communication with the personal computer etc. corresponding to Ethernet which is the world standard of the communication between computers.
  2. Ethernet can have eight independent ports, and communicate simultaneously with eight terminal bureaux or less.。
  3. The communication cable and telecommunications equipment for Ethernet widely marketed can be used. (The telecommunications equipments such as the transceiver, repeaters, and HUB must use the one for the IEEE802.3 standard. )

Ethernet is chiefly used to communicate with the computer at the information level.

The response is returned to the command transmitted by the personal computer etc.

Besides this, the command can be forwarded to other CPU modules connected with HPC-LINK, ME-NET, and FL-net, and "Relay command" be used.

 
File memory method
The data of the I/O register is sent and received by processing the sequence program. The reception side transmits "Reception confirmation" by which data is normally acknowledged to the transmission of the file memory.
