Bearings

Bearings are sometimes referred to as the "rice of the machinery industry."
This is because bearings are indispensable components used in virtually all rotating machinery, including automobiles, home appliances, and aircraft, making them a critically important part that supports the very foundation of Japan's industries.
As a comprehensive bearing manufacturer, JTEKT will continue to support comfortable lifestyles and global manufacturing through its long-established technologies and extensive product lineup.

HISTORY

The history of Koyo began in 1921, when bearing production was first launched.
In 1935, the company was reorganized as a corporation, leading to the establishment of Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd., which laid the foundation for the Koyo brand as we know it today.
