JTEKT SONA AUTOMOTIVE INDIA LTD., a company manufacturing the motor-driven power steering system, was established in India. (Production was started in October 2010.)

Steering system and bearing production companies and bearing sales company in Thailand joined to establish JTEKT (THAILAND) CO., LTD.

40% investment was made in WELE MECHATRONIC CO., LTD., a machine tool manufacturer in Taiwan.
