Origin of Corporate Brand
The "J" in JTEKT stands for "Joint", which connects Koyo and TOYODA.
"Joy" reflects our aim to be a company that brings joy to society.
In addition to "joint" and "joy","Japan" represents our wish to spread Japanese manufacturing expertise with the world.
"TEKT" is originated fromthe ancient Greek word "tekton," meaning a person with excellent technical skills.
The name "JTEKT" consists of the three "J"s and "Tekton."
