Behavioral Guidelines

JTEKT has established its Mission, Vision, and Value (MVV) as the foundation of its corporate management and business operations. To help employees better understand and put into practice our shared Values, "Yes for All, by All!", along with the five principles that support it, we have developed the Behavioral Guidelines. The Guidelines are intended to provide clear guidance that translates our Values into concrete actions in employees' daily work and decision-making.

In addition, as a company that manufactures products closely connected to human life and safety, the Guidelines emphasize our unwavering commitment to Safety & Quality as well as Traffic Safety. It outlines the fundamental attitudes and principles that all employees should continuously refer back to in their daily actions and conduct.

Our Values serve as guiding principles that helps ensure those efforts are directed in the right way.

For the Earth	Human life depends on a stable and thriving global environment. In our Mission, our commitment to protecting and contributing to the environment is expressed through the phrase "bring joy to the planet earth."
For Society	Just as JTEKT is supported by its stakeholders, we believe that JTEKT must also contribute to society. By "bringing joy to all working people," we aim to grow together with society while creating values for people around the world.
For Our Customers	Through ongoing dialogue with our customers, we strive to identify the challenges they face and uncover their true needs. By flexibly combining JTEKT's technologies, expertise, and knowledge, we　work together with our customers to co-create the optimal solutions.

Quality can only be ensured when employees work in a safe and secure environment. Safety is an essential foundation that protects the lives and well-being of each of us and our colleagues, while Quality is what enables us to protect the safety and well-being of our customers.

Traffic Safety
As a member of the automotive industry, we are committed to strict compliance with traffic laws and regulations and to doing our utmost to prevent traffic accidents. We believe that promoting Traffic Safety is not only a social responsibility but also an important factor in maintaining the trust and confidence placed in our company.

JTEKT Global Conduct Guidelines (Code of Conduct)

While the Behavioral Guidelines serve as a compass to help employees determine what is right in their daily work and decision-making, JTEKT Global Conduct Guidelines provide examples of the specific actions expected of us in putting those principles into practice.
Together, these two documents complement one another and support our journey toward achieving JTEKT's Mission and Vision.
