Exhibition at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

JTEKT will exhibit from September 10th to 22nd at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, held at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds in Germany. JTEKT will present steering systems, drive system components and bearings for automobiles, under a theme of "Creating the next value through monozukuri "

At the exhibition booth, JTEKT will present an automobile skeleton model, using cutaway models to introduce products that contribute to low fuel consumption and environmental conservation and normally go unnoticed, such as electric power steering, manual transmissions, differential gears, and engines, etc.

In 1988, JTEKT developed and began mass producing the world's first electric power steering, and this year marks the 25th anniversary of that achievement. In addition to domestic provision, JTEKT supplies power steering globally to automobile makers in locations such as Europe, North America, and Asia, and currently holds approximately one third of the world's electric power steering shares. At this year's exhibition, JTEKT will include the original model form 25 years ago, and introduce the history of electric power steering, as well as the transition of its technology.

We will aim to show our technical capability as a company who responds precisely to customers' needs, and plan to further sales expansion within the European regions.
