JTEKT's Europe group company has confirmed that it received unauthorized access to its network on July 21. We promptly disconnected the devices that had been accessed illegally from the network and notified the local authorities. We are currently investigating the details of the impact on other bases and production activities.

We deeply apologize for the concern and inconvenience caused to our customers and everyone else. The JTEKT Group will once again strengthen our security measures and work to prevent recurrence.
