Authenticity Verification
JTEKT works in collaboration with the World Bearing Association (WBA) to implement a product authentication app, WBA Bearing Authenticator.
In addition, as a proprietary initiative, JTEKT has introduced holograms for authenticity verification.

Important Notes When Using the Authenticity Verification Tool
There are separate authenticity verification tools for bearings and for automotive parts.
For verifying the authenticity of all bearings, including automotive bearings, please use the tool marked with the icon shown on the right.
*For automotive parts (excluding automotive bearings), please use the authenticity verification tool for automotive parts.

How to Use the Authenticity Verification App
Since June 2019, *QR codes for authenticity verification have been printed on bearings packaging labels.
By scanning this QR code with the dedicated app (free of charge), customers can verify product authenticity themselves.

Genuine Product
This product is genuine and can be used with confidence.
Scan Limit Exceeded
The QR code scan limit has been exceeded. There is a possibility that the product may be counterfeit.
If this message appears, please contact our authorized distributor. Please also check the hologram.
Counterfeit Product
The product in your possession is counterfeit.
If this message appears, please notify us through this app or contact our authorized distributor.
Hologram
Since 2016, holograms have been displayed on bearing packaging boxes, attached labels, or both as part of our authenticity verification measures.
Packaging boxes currently circulating in the market may feature either the new or the old hologram.

If the outline of the hologram appears blurred or unclear, the product may be counterfeit. Please contact our authorized distributor.
