Abstract Agricultural and construction machinery support economic development. Equipment used in these markets requires high reliability and multi-functional fl exibility while operating in very severe environments. A high priority is placed on the selection of key components such as bearings and drive shafts, which are required to perform with a high level of reliability. This report deals with the development of high reliability drive shafts seals and long life, low torque, low heat generation bearings for agricultural and construction machinery.
