Abstract In recent years, bearings are required to be used in harsh environments such as complex loads and high-speed rotation. In order to understand the bearing behavior under actual operating conditions, JTEKT has developed a bearing dynamics analysis system (S.S.A.P./MBD). This system is based on multi-body dynamics. We used a method of constructing independent equations of motion for each part and solving them by applying the numerical integration method. PV value prediction in a contact ellipse by spin motion analysis and consideration of cage strength for needle roller bearings of planetary gears are provided here as application examples.
