JTEKT Group Formulates "2030 Environmental Action Plan"
JTEKT Corporation (Headquarters: Kariya City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Yoshito Kondo; hereinafter "JTEKT") has updated its plan to minimize environmental impact aiming for a sustainable society and formulated the "2030 Environmental Action Plan."
The JTEKT Group established "Environmental Challenge 2050" with the slogan "All for One Earth," continuously taking on challenges to connect our irreplaceable Earth to future generations. To achieve carbon neutrality, we promote CO2 emissions reductions across all Scope 1, 2, and 3 categories. Specifically, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035 for Scope 1 and 2 emissions related to our own production activities.

The 2030 Environmental Action Plan is positioned as a milestone toward 2035, the midpoint of the "Environmental Challenge 2050" guideline for minimizing environmental impact. This plan reflects societal trends and sets targets under three pillars: "Carbon Neutrality," "Circular Economy," and "Nature Positive," along with "Environmental Management" as the foundation for action. The entire JTEKT Group will work unitedly towards 2035.
We will strengthen environmental management that guides activities such as actively using renewable energy, increasing the use of recycled materials, and promoting nature coexistence activities. Through these efforts, we strive to reduce environmental impact and realize a sustainable society.
