Abstract | AHN15 series is an ultrahigh precision processing machine that has been developed in order to satisfy with the lens mold market, requiring more complex shape, higher accuracy and larger size. The X, Y, Z table is made using hydrostatic bearing, an advanced high performance linear motor and a high performance linear scale feedback. Therefore, it is possible to move very smoothly. The quick & reliable manufacturing of the die ready for use in mass production was the most important development. For this purpose, not only the features of the AHN05 were improved to be more useful, but also the high precision adjustment tool device and the observation device for the processed surface on the machine were re-developed in order to reduce the working time between installing the workpiece into the machine and completing the die with high accuracy. |
