Abstract In recent years, laws and regulations concerning chemicals in products (CiP) have been strengthened globally. Companies around the world have been required to strengthen their efforts to prevent the outflow of environmentally hazardous substances. In order to complete the management of CiP, it is necessary to establish a company-wide management system and to enhance awareness of the importance of CiP management. This report describes the importance of CiP management and JTEKT’s method, as well as the details of efforts to reinforce the system based on the mission/vision set for FY2021.
