Abstract In order to achieve high-precision cutting, vibration that occurs during machining must be suppressed. The generated vibrations change due to the dynamic characteristic balance of the machining system. In this study, the physical mechanisms of vibration phenomena were considered based on the zero-order approximation method for end milling.
