Abstract |
At the COP26 conference in 2021, it was officially agreed that the world would move toward the 1.5°C goal. Customer, investor, and shareholder demands for steps toward carbon neutrality are becoming stronger. JTEKT has officially announced that the entire JTEKT Group will aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035. This paper introduces the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) as the overall initiative. It then describes details of activities for energy usage rate visualization, development of innovative energy saving and hydrogen technologies, introduction of renewable energy, and energy saving product development for carbon neutrality. |
