Abstract A method for predicting the quality of plastic products produced by injection molding using sensing data obtained inside molds and machine learning was proposed, and its effectiveness was verified by comparing predicted and experimental results. Technology to modify molding conditions automatically was then developed based on the obtained predicted results.
