| Abstract | The automotive industry, which is representative of mobility more generally, is undergoing changes, with CASE and MaaS as keywords. In particular, the shift to EVs is directly related to the development of bearing technology. Demand for improvements to basic bearing functions in EVs is stronger than ever, and the range of operating conditions for EVs is also expanding, so development that is not bound by conventional practices is necessary. This paper introduces examples of recent developments and typical examples of supporting technologies for such development. |
